Held a Tribal Workshop for the first Conference on Digital Transformation in Yemen 2022

Under the title of Digital Transformation and Financial Inclusion between Reality and Ambition,

We Are All Creative of development technology Organization held a tribal workshop for the first conference on digital transformation in Yemen.

The event was under the patronage of the State of Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, Prime Minister and the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Misfer Al-Numeer, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the workshop was carried out in cooperation with the Technology Society Center and Art Way Office, on Monday, 16 Safar 1444 AH -12 September 2022 AD, in the recreational club in the capital city Sana’a.
The workshop was attended by several influencers in the government, financial and technical sector from several parties related to digital transformation and financial inclusion and those interested in this direction. The participants presented many proposals and recommendations that constitute a roadmap to achieve serious digital transformation and enhance financial inclusion.
Engineer, Wafaa Taha Al-Ariqi – Executive Director of the organization stated that the workshop is a necessary introduction; To gather visions and consequently efforts to achieve stable and big steps in the path of digital transformation and financial inclusion, as the workshop contributes to the formation of a unified general framework for work through which all parties of interest and mission to push and move towards important and pioneering future horizons.
The workshop and its performance were well-received and praised by the attendees and those interested, who found it an opportunity and an important step to find a single track that contributes to a qualitative leap in efforts and their due integration in the first place.

Who attended the workshop:

The attendance was from several parties, such as, the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, the Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Communications, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Economic Committee, the Information Technology Center in Higher Education, the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, the Association Legal accountants, e-learning and others, and a number of banks such as Bank of Yemen and Kuwait, CAC Bank, Tadhamon Bank, telecommunications companies, TeleYemen, Yemen Mobile Company, Sabafon Company, You Company, and electronic wallets such as Wallet (Quality Connect Company), Sabacash We Cash and My Wallet, and technology companies such as Fastlink, Secureroy, and Betasys, and applications such as e-shops, Tasaheel and other related parties.

Here are some of the workshop’s outcomes:

Preparing and implementing a national strategy for digital transformation, a regulatory framework for leading and managing digital transformation, preparing and implementing a financial inclusion strategy, encouraging investment in the digital financial services sector, enacting laws and legislation regulating digital transformation and facilitating implementation procedures from partners, developing infrastructure to accommodate digital orientation and its technological and security requirements Attention to awareness, education and creating a high digital culture, the use of research centers and their support for procedures for research and studies in these two areas, and other recommendations directed towards changing the reality of digital transformation and the current financial inclusion to a new positive reality.
